Dries Alkemade began acting at the age of eighteen at the Youth Theatre School in Groningen. After graduating from drama school in Tilburg, he starred in award-winning series, including Hollands Hoop (Dutch Academy Award 2014) and Zeven Kleine Criminelen (Dutch Academy Award 2019). He has also played several supporting roles in TV series such as Flikken Maastricht, Petticoat, Het Verhaal van Nederland, and De Regels van Floor. This year, Dries appeared in the German series Der Amsterdam Krimi and the American series Atlanta, created by Donald Glover.
